The Kendall TENDERSORB WET-PRUF ABD Pad is a highly absorbent pad consisting of three layers. The first layer is a soft, outer nonwoven layer. The second is a fluff filler layer for absorbency and a third layer of WET-PRUF barrier to prevent fluid strike-through. All four edges are sealed to prevent lint residue and leaking. The TENDERSORB ABD pad is ideal as a primary dressing for abdominal or other large incisions. The WET-PRUF pad can also be used a secondary dressing for heavily exudating wounds for moisture protection.
